Founder

Arash Mozaffari, M.Arch
Arash Mozaffari is a renowned architect known for his innovative and experimental approach to architecture. He was born in 1971 and earned his Master of Architecture degree from Azad University in Tehran.

In 2005, Mozaffari founded the Experimental Branch of Architecture Metropolis EBA-M in Tehran, which quickly gained recognition for its cutting-edge designs and unique perspectives. He received numerous awards for his work, consistently distinguishing himself as one of the most talented architects of his generation.

In 2007, Mozaffari expanded his architecture practice by founding EBA in Toronto, Canada. His new firm quickly established itself as one of the leading architecture firms in the region, completing numerous successful projects in Canada and the United States.

In 2016, Mozaffari opened EBA[U] in Los Angeles, where he focused on exploring the relationship between social and cultural studies with architecture. His innovative approach to architecture earned him international recognition, and he completed projects in countries such as the USA, UAE, Morocco, Japan, South Korea, Iran, Turkmenistan, and Egypt.

Mozaffari's architectural designs and works have been showcased in Canada, the US, Paris, Iran, and the UAE and he has written numerous articles and papers in international architecture magazines and journals.

In addition to his numerous accomplishments, Mozaffari has also been recognized for his outstanding contributions to architecture. He was a finalist nominee for the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture in Geneva, highlighting his exceptional work and innovative ideas. Mozaffari's works were also showcased in the Venice Biennial of Architecture, further cementing his place as a leading figure in the architectural world. Additionally, he won the Grand Memar Award, adding to his impressive list of
accolades.

In addition to his work as an architect, Mozaffari also taught architecture in universities and colleges, sharing his knowledge and expertise with future generations of architects.

Currently residing in Canada, Mozaffari continues to pursue his architecture journey as an entrepreneur, pushing the boundaries of architecture and design through his innovative and experimental approach. He remains an inspiration to architects and designers around the world, always striving to create architecture that is both beautiful and environmentally friendly.
